Starting Tuesday, February 1st, The GodCast Network is proud to present our latest show, Reflections. Hosted by South African pastor Mark Taylor, Reflections is a gentle and soothing reading of God's Word designed to pierce the mayhem of your day and help you tap into that peace that surpasses all understanding. We hope you enjoy it!
Radio Userland, which is what I use to update The GodCast Network, crashed last night and I have only just been able to get it back up and running again. I apologize for the resulting delays.
The GodCast Network is proud to bring you Rachel's Choice, a new weekly show from 8-year-old Rachel Patchett. You may be familiar with Rachel from The Living Word, which she hosts each Monday, but Rachel's Choice is her own production, making her the youngest podcaster on the web with a regular show!
Rachel's Choice features a music track and verse of the week, both selected by Rachel. Her taste in music might surprise you, especially for an 8-year-old, so be sure to check the show out.
The GodCast Network is very pleased to announce that, starting January 22nd, we will begin running The Radio Adventures of Doctor Floyd as the web's first Saturday morning podcast! This "old-time" family-friendly radio serial is perfect for kids, parents, and those of questionable maturity...in other words, you'll love it! (And you might even learn a thing or two.) So subscribe now and get ready to have fun.
If you'd like more information on this show you can visit the official Doctor Floyd web site by clicking on the announcement title above.
Within the next few weeks we'll be launching a new podcast featuring a daily reading of Charles Spurgeon's classic devotional, Morning and Evening. You can subscribe now in order to start receiving the podcast as soon as it goes live. We also encourage to purchase a print copy of the devotional, which can be found or ordered at your local bookstore or ordered online at amazon.com, bn.com, or christianbook.com.
Morning and Evening will feature background music by inspirational pianist Paul Hovda, who has been generous enough to allow us to use his work. You can visit his Web site at paulhovdapiano.com.
Latest news and announcements cover the addition of the RevTim Podcast, the relaunch of the Behind the Scenes podcast, the new comment line, and the Podcast Alley voting links.
We'd like to welcome the RevTim Podcast to the GodCast Network. The RevTim Podcast is a relatively new podcast hosted by Tim Hohm out of El Sobrante, CA. Tim is the Senior Pastor at Central Assembly in El Sobrante (and also an avid woodworker) and his podcast offers a fresh, upbeat, and inspiring perspective on life that we're pleased to be able to make a part of GodCast.org. Check it out and subscribe today!
