Welcome to Behind the Scenes

This is a podcast site, home of free MP3 audio shows that you can listen to now on your computer by clicking on the MP3 icons below. Or, using podcasting client software such as Apple's iTunes, you can subscribe to our shows and have them downloaded automatically to your computer and optionally to your portable MP3 player whenever new shows become available.

Start by exploring the shows from Behind the Scenes on this page or explore other shows using the links on the left. When you find a show you want to subscribe to you have two choices. If you're using iTunes, simply click on the iTunes 1Click button on the upper left of the page to take you to the appropriate subscription page in iTunes and then click on the Subscribe button. If you're using another podcasting client, right-click (Control-click on the Mac with a one-button mouse) on the RSS Podcast button in the upper left and select "Copy Link" from the popup menu. Add a new podcast subscription in your client software and paste the link into the RSS field.

If you have questions feel free to use the email link on the left to contact a show host or TGN founder Craig Patchett. Thanks for visiting and God bless you!

I've been using a PED stand from Thought Out for my iPods for years so I definitely recommend the PED3 iPhone stand (or iPod Touch). They get your iPhone off the desk, away from scratches, and into view where it belongs. Check them out.

After more than three years of sporadic releases, Behind the Scenes is officially down for the count thanks to an increased workload at my regular job and increased family priorities. There may be one more show to wrap things up but other than that there's no point in dragging it out any more.

Thanks for listening.

Craig

In show #4 of Paul Colligan's podcast "Paul's Profitable Podcasting," Steven Prussack of RawVeganRadio.com lays out a surprisingly comprehensive strategy for achieving profitability with his podcast. If you're stuck in a traditional mindset for how to make money from your own podcast, listen and prepare to be inspired!

The audio from the paid conference sessions at the Podcast and Portable Media Expo is now available:

http://pa.gigavox.com/series/ppme.html

For $100 ($99.99, but let's be realistic) you get 39 audio files in MP3 format, or around 38 hours of audio. The content is excellent, the audio quality is great, and at around $2.50 an hour you can't beat the price. If you're serious about podcasting you owe it to yourself (and your show) to get this as soon as possible.
