The Ghost Of Learning Present takes Dr. Floyd on a journey to Dr. Steve's ship to show him that even though he's evil, Dr. Steve still celebrates Learning Day in his own evil way. Dr. Floyd also learns that C.H.I.P.S. has come down with a nasty computer virus that threatens his life!

Dr. Grant and C.H.I.P.S. prepare the ship for their annual National Learning Day celebration. Dr. Floyd, acting quite miserly, calls National Learning Day, "Humbug" saying he has learned all there is to possibly learn. Later that night he's visited by the spirit of his long lost protege Dr. Doug who warns of the coming of three spirits. The first spirit, the Ghost Of Learning Past, shows Dr. Floyd how much learning was part of his, sometimes painful, past.

Johann Pachelbel is plotting revenge on his cellist playing girlfriend while Dr. Steve is plotting on stealing Pachelbel's Canon in D. Dr. Floyd, Dr. Grant and C.H.I.P.S. try to locate Dr. Steve and when they do they find out he has got hold of the Score! Dr. Steve's lies though soon catch up with him and he gets whats coming to him.

Hoping to make a fortune off the royalties of famous wedding songs, Dr. Steve and Fidgert go to Germany in 1680 to try and take credit for Johan Pachelbel's Canon In D. Dr. Floyd, Dr. Grant & C.H.I.P.S. race to try and stop them. We also get a bit on insight into Johann Pachelbel's love life.
