This is a podcast site, home of free MP3 audio shows that you can listen to now on your computer by clicking on the MP3 icons below. Or, using podcasting client software such as Apple's iTunes, you can subscribe to our shows and have them downloaded automatically to your computer and optionally to your portable MP3 player whenever new shows become available.Start by exploring the shows from The GodCast Network on this page or explore other shows using the links on the left. When you find a show you want to subscribe to you have two choices. If you're using iTunes, simply click on the iTunes 1Click button on the upper left of the page to take you to the appropriate subscription page in iTunes and then click on the Subscribe button. If you're using another podcasting client, right-click (Control-click on the Mac with a one-button mouse) on the RSS Podcast button in the upper left and select "Copy Link" from the popup menu. Add a new podcast subscription in your client software and paste the link into the RSS field.

The idea for GodCast.org came
about the same day I first heard about podcasting. It was one of those
things that just click in your head in a way you can't explain, but
which is probably best compared to spontaneous combustion. In this case
it was no doubt helped by the fact that I had been praying for years
for God to show me a way in which I could use my talents to serve him.
I have a diverse background that includes varying degrees of experience
with radio, publishing, writing, sound engineering, software design,
research, and technology so podcasting was a perfect fit. Given my
faith and the role it plays in my life, a Christian podcast was a
given, but I don't feel strong enough as a Christian to be trying to
teach anyone. My first idea was to simply make my church's weekly
messages available via podcast (which will be the first thing I do),
but then I had the idea to create something that would introduce
listeners to some of the best Christian resources available on the Web.
So here we are.
As I write this, GodCast.org
is still in its early stages. The domain is registered, the hosting
company is finalizing its setup, and I'm waiting to be able to go live
with the blog side of it. At launch the site will be hosted by GoDaddy.com and I'll be using Radio Userland
to run everything. The next step will be to get my podcasting feet wet
with the material from my church and then I'll be ready to jump into
